Loosie Grind & Leonard Are Two Young Pop Sirens With An Instant Bop They’ve Made Together, ‘Hold Me Up’

A COVID-induced Zoom recording session has resulted in a really immediate, gorgeous little bop called Hold Me Up.

The artists responsible are the Melbourne/Narrm-based vocalist/songwriter/DJ Loosie Grind and the New Zealand/Aotearoa producer Leonard.

According to an email from Loosie, the song “narrates two conflicting perspectives on time and how there is a dual pressure to live in the
moment as well as think about the future,”
but she makes it slap.
