Introducing: Abby Bella May With A Dreamy Bedroom Pop Moment Called ‘ice cream’

Whilst we await the incubation of a mammoth amount of bedroom pop records post-Rona, we’re pleased to share a very good one crafted before we knew the phrase ‘social distancing’, via Sydney pop maker Abby Bella May.

ice cream, designed with her BFF & producer Oscar Sharah, is an emotional but sharp-tongued song that according to Abby, “explores the struggles involved when the line between two kinds of love becomes blurred and dives into the complexities of human relationships.”

Basically, an important exploration of The Friendzone.

It’s got a huge chorus, direct lyrics and really interesting production – if you like how BENEE, Clairo and Nicole Millar‘s records sound you’ll love ice cream.
