GLADES May Sound Different On ‘Vertigo’, But Just As Good

Smart pop acts get when it’s time to try something different.

The Sydney trio GLADES from day dot have brought likeable, synth-driven pop music to us and we have lapped it up like THIRSTY DOGS.

The first single to come post-album is Vertigo, a much sharper and more jarring song than we’ve heard before, but still an absolute moment.

The beat sounds like an action movie, the vocoder’s running hard and the production feels tonnes more industrial than what we’re used to – but it still makes absolute sense and sets up a really exciting and unique tone for the GLADES music to come.
