George Alice Steps Into Proper Popstar Territory With ‘Stuck In A Bubble’

The career that 17-year-old George Alice has carefully built off one single has been nothing short of phenomenal so far. The kinda shit most kids dream of.

Circles catapulted her into the winners position of triple j’s Unearthed High, onto the Laneway and Aus Open stages and into the playlists and hearts of many fans who instantly connected with her.

Usually backing such a revered track up with something as good is practically impossible, however George has flipped the script and delivered one of the great pop hits of the year domestically.

Stuck In A Bubble is a super fun earworm – produced by Reunion Island born producer NASAYA – that explores not having your shit together and coming to a level of contentment with that.

“I’m hoping Stuck In A Bubble can be heard as an anthem for people young and old who feel like their ground isn’t steady, they don’t have plans, and ultimately are just a little confused about the world around them. I’m filled with questions I don’t think I will ever find answers to, but hopefully this is the arm of comfort reaching towards you to be on this journey together.”

The video, directed by Claudia Brand and produced by Caroline Fanning, features a bunch of her music friends – and some excellent at-home choreography by Zoee Marsh. G’s really proud to have assembled an all-female team for the video and they’ve made one of the most loveable clips of the year.

Smash city, and the sky is the limit.
