Princess of France Evangeline is finally putting out her first ever EP after a weird and wonderful couple of years establishing herself as a globally relevant popstar.
She’s signed to Universal in Australia and Polydor in France – where her first single My Kingdom blew the hell up – to put out Atelophobia on June 16. Basically she says the EP’s gonna be full of “sad songs about sad boys” – two released so far, three new. Apparently the songs “universalise painful encounters via uplifting power-pop”. V excited.
To launch the EP she’s going to do a show at The Penny Black in Melbourne on Saturday June 17, and one in Sydney on Friday July 21 at The World Bar (unlucky if ur at Splendour).
You can probably just grab tickets on the door or some shit.
