Cry Club’s ‘Nine Of Swords’ Is A Searing Reminder To Check On Your Coping Mechanisms

Heather Riley continues to prove they’re one of the most fucking excellent performers on the microphone right now as their duo with Jonathon Tooke – Cry Club – releases Nine Of Swords and announces a whole album is coming before the end of the year.

It’s a blistering and sometimes tongue-in-cheek reminder that crystals and salt lamps aren’t going to make you a better person, working on yourself and doing that deep, scary, inner work might do the trick a little better.

Produced by Gab Strum (Japanese Wallpaper), the phenomenal mix of brilliant pop storytelling & dressing it up with speedy drums & big guitars to get the message across remains uniquely Cry Club.

God I’m Such A Mess is the incredible album name, the artwork is also incredible, of course it’s done by Giulia McGauran, and the record’s out November 13.
