Aodhan’s ‘Drive’ Is A Cruisy Earworm From An Undeniable 15-Year-Old Star

File this under the Hauskey-led folder of ‘cruisy bops with earworm choruses,’ Dharawal songwriter Aodhan‘s new single Drive.

Crafted with Josh Pyke and the purveyor of excellence that is JP Fung, Drive is a fun song that Aodhan says is about the complexities of teenage emotions and behaviours and how they often shift from one to another.

The voices of young people – properly young people – are so good to hear in convincing pop songs like this.

+ 10 points for the ‘da-da-dadada-da-da-da’ just before the final chorus, and the crowd vox in that last hook. Amazing.
